Growing up my Father loved to play Oliver Mutukudzi, Lucky Dube, Thomas Mapfumo, … He used to blast songs from these artists on road trips to Karoi or Harare. But a genre of music that didn’t fit in with this music was American country music, specifically music by Dolly Parton.
Learning of her passing, it just takes me to a interesting period of my childhood.
